Max Emanuel Cencic

Max Emanuel Cencic was born on September 21, 1976 in Zagreb/Croatia.
At the age of 6 he sang the Queen of the Night in his native town.
From 1986-92 he was a member and soloist of the Vienna Boys' Choir.
In September 1992, after his voice break, he started a solo career.
A special technique developed by his mother, Silvia von Vojnic-Purcar,
allowed him to continue singing in the soprano range.
After a voluntary sabbatical, he returned in 2000 as a countertenor
and is in great demand. He has released six CDs as a counter-tenor.

    A technical question: How do you make that the tracks in mp3 sound directely? I use Dropbox but then it comes another window to open or download the file, but they are not directely to be heard...

    Hi!
    Yes, Escolania de Montserrat is on my top ten list! There are so many great choirs. I love LPC a la Croix de la Bois too. I am somewhat crazy about France alltogether :-)
    About the mp3 files. I use the Yahoo player. When added to your blog page it picks up the mp3 file names and play them. The links to the filserver carrying the mp3:s I put in the post. I hope my explanation is of clear.

    The files are hosted at a fileserver, FileDen.com
    It is easy to upload and the files are available for streaming all the time.

    In the WSK performance of Mozart's Sub tuum praesidium, some people (but not all) list the 2nd soprano as Max Emanual Cencic. The singer, however, does not look anything like Cencic, does not hae the same coloring or faciel features, and does not sound at all like Cencic. So, who was he?
