The story in the film Der schönste Tag Meines Lebens, 1957, is the same as in An Orphan Boy of Vienna from 1936. That is ok with me since I am the sentimental guy.
The boy is played by Michael Ande born on the 5th of October 1944 in Bad Wiesse Germany. Michael is still active as an actor.

ReplyDeleteI have been searching myself on Google.de, after I had watched Ferien in Tirol, also with Michael Ande. In can't understand why such charming films of that period are not reissued. Ferien in Tirol was shown on the german television program 3SAT in november 2012. In case they show this film you are looking after, I shall record it on DVD and let you know.
